Earning Status Credits
Status Credits are earned when you fly with Virgin Australia and our international airline partners including Singapore Airlines, Etihad Airways, Delta Air Lines, Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin America, Virgin Samoa, Hawaiian Airlines and Airlines PNG and are used to determine your level of membership in the Velocity program. The more you fly and the higher the fare class, the more Status Credits you earn.

Status Credit balance
Your Status Credit balance is calculated daily based on the number of Status Credits earned in the previous 12 months. Every Status Credit you earn is valid for 12 months, which means your Status Credit balance will not be reset to zero at your review date.
To view your Status Credit balance, login to your Velocity Account.

Levels of membership
Velocity has three levels of membership above entry level (Red): Silver, Gold and Platinum. The higher your level of membership, the greater the benefits.
