Terms and Conditions
Fares are on sale from 3 July 2012 until further notice, for travel year round. All fares are subject to availability and may vary until ticketed and are for economy or business class travel. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or peak days. Fares are quoted in AUD. Additional taxes may be payable. An additional charge of $25 AUD per Guest per booking is applicable to all fares paid by credit/debit card. Tickets purchased through the Guest Contact Centre cost $50 AUD more. Rebooking and rerouting permitted at no charge provided the change does not contravene the Round the World or Circle Pacific fare conditions unless it is made at a Singapore Airlines ticket office. A service fee of $60 AUD applies per ticket requiring issue/reissue through Singapore Airlines ticket offices. Fares are refundable before the day of travel and a $120 AUD per person charge is applicable; this charge is subject to change and the charge published on the website at the relevant date will apply.
Refunds on or after the day of travel are not permitted for economy class fares; the fare will be forfeited. A partial refund on or after the day of travel is permitted for business class fares but a cancellation fee of $120 AUD is payable. Additionally, a no-show fee of $120 AUD for economy class fares and $230 AUD for business class fares applies.
Only one stopover may be made at the same city with the exception of 2 transfers being permitted in Singapore for the side trip to South East Asia in one direction only and 2 transfers at the same Australian International gateway is permitted one in each direction only. Transfers are permitted as per the permitted routing. One Australian domestic sector is permitted in each direction.

Where business class is not available, business class passengers will travel in premium economy or economy class without compensation.
Velocity members cannot earn Points or Status Credits on SilkAir operated services unless marketed by a Virgin Australia International Long Haul (VA) flight number.
Circle Pacific Fares
Travel must be in a continuous circle pacific direction, originate and end in Australia, and must at least include the services of Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia International Long Haul (VA coded flights only). Applicable on services of Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Virgin Australia International Long Haul (VA coded flights only). A South Pacific crossing and a North / Central Pacific crossing must form part of the fare and can only occur once on the fare, with a side trip from Singapore to South-East Asia also permitted. Intermediate surface sectors are permitted at the passenger’s own expense provided onward travel is in the same circle pacific direction. Intermediate surface sector in the itinerary exceeds 24 hours is considered as one stopover. Permitted Routing: Australia – Los Angeles (surface to San Francisco) – Tokyo (Seoul/ Hong Kong) - Singapore (one side trip to South East Asia) – Australia. Travel from last stopover must commence no later than 6 months after departure from origin.
Round the World Fares
Travel must be in a continuous eastbound or westbound direction, originate and end in Australia, and must at least include the services of Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia International Long Haul (VA coded flights only). Applicable on services of Singapore Airlines, Silk Air and Virgin Australia International Long Haul (VA coded flights only). Optional American transcontinental flight provided by Virgin America, surcharges apply. A transatlantic crossing and a transpacific crossing must form part of the fare and can occur only once on the fare, with a side trip from Singapore to Asia permitted. Intermediate surface sectors are permitted at the passenger’s own expense provided onward travel is in the same global direction. Intermediate surface sector in the itinerary exceeds 24 hours is considered as one stopover. Permitted Routing: Australia- Los Angeles // New York / Dallas /Sao Paulo – Europe (surface to South Africa/Middle East/SASC - SIN (one side-trip to Asia) – Australia. Travel from last stopover must commence no later than 12 months after departure from origin.
