If you have a Commonwealth Bank credit card and you’re part of their Commonwealth Awards program, just transfer a minimum of 3,600 Commonwealth Awards points to your Velocity Account before 30 November 2008 and we’ll give you 25% bonus Velocity Points on top of your transfer balance!

For example, if you have a Standard Awards Card and you transfer 12,000 Awards Points, you’ll get 6,000 Velocity Points plus an extra 1,500 Velocity Points as your 25% bonus. With a total of 7,500 Velocity Points in your Account, you could be taking off with Points for your next holiday!

Here’s how many bonus Velocity Points you can earn if you transfer 12,000 Awards points, depending on the type of Commonwealth Awards card you have:

How to get your 25% bonus Velocity Points with Commonwealth Awards:

To get your 25% bonus Velocity Points, you’ll need to transfer your Commonwealth Awards points to Velocity before 30 November 2008. Transferring your Awards points is easy. Just have your Velocity Membership Number handy and:

  • login to NetBank and click on the Awards program icon on the home page; or
  • call the Commonwealth Awards Call Centre on 13 16 61 between 8am-8pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday.

The 25% bonus Points offer is available from 8 September until 30 November 2008 only. Individuals must be a Commonwealth Awards cardholder. The earning and redemption of Commonwealth Awards points is subject to general terms and conditions of the Commonwealth Awards program, available at http://www.commbank.com.au/personal/credit-cards . A minimum of 3,600 Commonwealth Awards points must be redeemed for Velocity Points in one transaction to be eligible for the 25% bonus Points. Points redemption amounts above 3,600 must be redeemed in increments of 1,000. To redeem Commonwealth Awards points for Velocity Points, individuals must be a Velocity Member. Membership of Velocity is the cardholder?s responsibility and is subject to the Velocity Membership Terms & Conditions as amended from time to time, available at velocityrewards.com.au . The redemption of Commonwealth Awards points will be administered solely by Commonwealth Awards and will take up to 3 business days to transfer into the Velocity Membership Account. Once Commonwealth Awards points have been redeemed for Velocity Points, they are governed by the Velocity Membership Terms & Conditions and cannot be reversed.
