You can redeem your Velocity Points on vouchers for your Cruisepilot holiday. If you don?t have enough Points to cover the whole trip, you can use Vouchers for part and then pay for the rest (Voucher Plus Pay). The balance you pay for, earns you Velocity Points!

How many Velocity Points do I need?

This depends on the cost of your chosen cruise and whether you’re paying for part, or the entire cruise, with vouchers.  

How do I make a redemption booking with Cruisepilot?

If you want to take your Cruisepilot package during popular public holiday periods, make sure you get in early to book as it’s always busy at these times.

Vouchers Plus Pay:

To make your booking using a combination of vouchers and paying for the balance, just follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Check out Cruisepilot’s website for details of the cruise you want.

Step 2: Call the Cruisepilot Contact Centre between 8.30am-7pm (AEST) Monday to Friday or 8.30am-3pm Saturday. Have the following ready to make your booking:

• Details of your chosen cruise 
• Your Velocity Membership Number and name as it appears on your Card 
• The amount of vouchers you’ll be redeeming as part or full payment.

Step 3: Go to the Velocity Rewards Shop and order your vouchers with your Velocity Points. You need to order your vouchers immediately after making the booking. You’ll get an email confirming your order and your vouchers will automatically be sent to Cruisepilot for processing.

Step 4: Once they’ve received your vouchers, Cruisepilot will contact you to complete your booking. You can use your credit card to pay for any outstanding balance due. To earn Velocity Points on the balance you pay for, be sure to give them your Membership Number.

Vouchers only:

If you’re using vouchers to cover the full amount of the Cruisepilot fare, you need to book at least 90 days before the departure date. Just follow the same procedures as above. To make sure you get the cabin you request, you need to purchase your Vouchers from the Velocity Rewards Shop immediately after making your booking; otherwise the cruise package price may not be secure.
