Family Pooling (Points and Status Credits)

Our Family Points pooling benefit allows you to pool your family member’s Points into one Account, giving you the opportunity to be rewarded sooner. You can also pool Status Credits to help you quickly upgrade to the next level of membership. Find out more.

Parental leave

If you’re expecting a new addition to the family, it’s reassuring to know you’ll be able to pause your Silver, Gold or Platinum membership for 6 months. Simply pick up where you left off with your membership level intact. Find out more.

Points transfers
You can continue to transfer your Velocity Points from your membership Account to the Account of an eligible family member up to four times per year.

Guaranteed Reward Seats for an annual family trip

As a Gold or Platinum member, you can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing you are guaranteed Reward Seats for an annual family trip. Gold members can redeem Points for up to four return Reward Seats for an annual family trip to any Australian destination, while Platinum members can choose from hundreds of international destinations.

Family-friendly lounge access

Platinum members can invite up to three additional guests into the lounge, whilst Gold members can invite one additional guest. Both Gold and Platinum members can also take up to two children under the age of 12 into the lounge with them.

Companion Gold and Platinum membership

Platinum members can now share Velocity benefits and rewards with a friend or family member. You can gift a Companion Gold or Companion Platinum membership once you earn an additional 1,500 or 2,000 Status Credits respectively within your membership period*.
