HotelClub Earn Terms and Conditions

1. Points values shown are correct as at 25 August 2011 and are subject to change. Points are automatically credited to your Velocity account after your stay.
2. A Qualifying Stay is one or more consecutive nights at the same hotel, whether you check in or out more than once, at the hotel’s Qualifying Room Rates (generally the standard rate, not a discounted or group rate).
3. Qualifying Room Rates generally do not include promotional rates, wholesale packages, conference rates and group tour rates, employee discount rates, rates booked through third party web sites offering discounted 'distressed' inventory or 'last minute' accommodation deals, Member benefits discount rate and award or discount certificates, free or complimentary hotel stays, special rates offered through travel agencies, special rates offered to airline crew, airline employees, travel agent employees, Hotel employees or other industry discount rates.
4. A Qualifying Stay must be booked at hotelclub.com/velocityrewards to earn Velocity Points. Velocity Points are not redeemable via HotelClub directly. Bookings made on hotelclub.com/velocityrewards do not accrue any HotelClub member dollars. Velocity Points are awarded for all Qualifying Stays at Qualifying Rates (including all government charges and GST but excluding the booking fee if applicable). Velocity Points are earned for accommodation charges only, and are not earned for ancillary charges such as food, beverages, phone and laundry charged to the room account. Unless otherwise specified, Qualifying Room Rates do not include stays purchased as part of package holidays, free stays, stays at industry discount rates, stays at group rates or other special promotional rates, or Stays using Award or discount certificates. The Velocity Points earn rate is the same across all hotel locations. Multiple rooms can be included in one booking. There is no maximum length of stay for Velocity Points earn.
