ING insurance leaves the Velocity Rewards Program on 31 July, 2010.

Members who take out an eligible home, contents, car, landlord or life insurance policy until 31 July 2010 will earn Velocity Points for every dollar spent on their insurance policy until the earliest of your policy expiry date, or the 31st July 2011. However, Members who take out a home, contents, car, landlord or life insurance policy after 31 July 2010 will not earn Velocity Points on taking out their insurance policy, or throughout the life of the policy. ING Australia will be in contact with existing policyholders providing further information, or Members can call ING Australia directly.

what you get.

Home, Car or Landlord Insurance - 1 Point per dollar spent on premiums and up to 5,000 Velocity Points for each policy taken out and kept for three months or more.
ING Life First - 1,000 Velocity Points for every $100,000 of cover (capped at 5,000 Velocity Points).
Selected other policies - up to 5,000 Velocity Points per policy and 1 Point per dollar spent on premiums over the life of the policy.

Have your Velocity Membership Number handy and jump online or call ING:
- Online: Home insurance; Car insurance; Landlord insurance; Life insurance.
- Phone: 1300 764 712 for home, contents, car or landlord insurance or 1800 500 229 for life insurance (8am to 8pm AEST Mon – Fri).
Once your policy has been active for three months, we’ll credit your Account with your bonus Velocity Points. Four months from your policy start date, the ongoing Velocity Points will be credited, and then once every month thereafter.
