How many Velocity Points do I earn?
You earn one Velocity Point for each dollar you spend on a qualifying Cruisepilot package booked through their website or the Cruisepilot Contact Centre. Keep your eye out for special Bonus Point offers with Cruisepilot or at Velocity Specials.
A qualifying Cruisepilot package needs to originate in Australia. You earn Points on the price of the cruise and port charges in Australian dollars. Other possible charges like taxes, insurance, transfers; or costs you might have while you’re actually away on your cruise like drinks or telephone calls, don’t earn any Points.
Who earns the Points?
Whoever you nominate as the ‘first traveller’ earns all the Velocity Points for the total cost of the Cruisepilot package. So if you’re making the booking, just nominate yourself. Or if someone else is booking it for you, make sure they provide your Velocity Membership number and nominate you as the first traveller.
How to book with Cruisepilot to earn Points
Velocity Points will be in your Account up to six weeks after you’ve finished your cruise. To earn Velocity Points with Cruisepilot, remember to include your Velocity Membership Number when you:
- Book through the Cruisepilot website, or
- Call the Cruisepilot Contact Centre
