Whether you?re an individual looking to hire a car or you?re part of a company with a corporate Europcar contract, you can earn Velocity Points on each dollar spent on the rental cost of the vehicle at all Europcar locations in Australia and New Zealand.

How many Velocity Points do I earn?

You earn Velocity Points on the rental cost of the vehicle (time and kilometres) at the following rates:

Individuals:

• 4 Points^ per dollar spent within Australia and New Zealand
• 800 Points^ per rental outside Australia and New Zealand

Contracted business customers: 

•  2 Points^ per dollar spent within Australia and New Zealand
•  400 Points^ per rental outside Australia and New Zealand

^These rates are correct as at 18 March 2008 and are subject to change.

Please Note: Velocity Points will be allocated to the base rental cost of the vehicle with Europcar. Damage liability cover, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one way fees, age surcharges, equipment, additional drive fees, baby/booster seats or GPS, will not earn Velocity Points.

How do I book with Europcar to earn Points?

Remember to have your Velocity Membership card handy when booking because you’ll need to enter your correct Velocity Membership Number. To earn your Points also make sure the name on your rental agreement is the same as the name displayed on your Membership card. And one last thing – nominate yourself as the main driver, as only one person can earn Points for each rental. Now, to book your rental:

You’ll need to provide your Velocity Membership Number again when picking up your car. And keep in mind, all car rentals come under Europcar's standard terms and conditions which apply to your booking.
