You earn Points with Emirates based on the type of fare and the distance you fly. So the further you go, the more Points you earn! Just check at the time of booking to confirm that your preferred class of travel is eligible.
How many Velocity Points do I earn?
The table below shows the amount of Points per mile you earn for each type of fare.

For single sector distances of less than 500 miles your Velocity Points calculation will be based on 500 miles flown. So if you fly 480 miles on a Discounted Economy fare you’ll receive 250 Points (500 x 50% = 250).

How do I book with Emirates to earn Points?
Just remember to include your Velocity Membership Number when you book. Visit http://www.emirates.com/au/english/ to choose your destination, check flight availability, and book.
Can I claim Points from a previous flight?
If you’ve flown with Emirates in the last three months and you were already a Velocity Member at the time, you can claim missing Points. Call our friendly Membership Centre for more details.
