If you’re also a Hilton HHonors® member, you can take 
advantage of Double Dipping®. This means that you can earn both Velocity Points and Hilton HHonors points for every Qualifying Stay.
How many Velocity Points do I earn?
As a Velocity Member, you earn a flat rate of 1,000 Velocity Points for each Qualifying Stay at Hilton Hotels, Conrad Hotels, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Hilton Grand Vacations Club, and Waldorf Astoria properties.
There’s no maximum to the number of nights for Qualifying Stays, just the minimum of one night in the same hotel.
How do I stay with Hilton to earn Points?
To earn Points on Qualifying Stays at Hilton Hotels, just provide your Velocity Membership Number when making your booking by phone, online or through your travel agent. Or present your Velocity Membership Card at check-in.

What's a 'Qualifying Stay'?
A Qualifying Stay consists of one or more consecutive nights at the same hotel whether or not you check-in/check-out more than once, at the hotel’s Qualifying Room Rates. Generally, this is the standard room rate that’s not a special discounted or group rate*.
