How to start earning

To start earning Velocity Points, follow these quick steps:

1. Join Velocity now – it’s free online and it only takes a few minutes.
2. Once you’ve joined, you’ll be given your unique Membership Number which you can start using straight away to earn Points. Your Membership Card will arrive in the mail.
3. Always provide your Membership Number to our Program Partners.
4. Login to your Account to see your Points and Status Credit balance or to update your Personal Details.
5. As your Points add up, redeem them for domestic or international flights, accommodation, holidays, gifts and a range of other great rewards with our Program Partners.

Earn in the air

As the award winning loyalty program of Virgin Blue, V Australia*, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue you earn Velocity Points and Status Credits every time you fly.

• Velocity Points – are earned with Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue, and you earn at least 5 Velocity Points for every dollar you spend on your fare. With V Australia* you earn Velocity Points based on your fare type and miles flown.
• Status Credits - are earned by flying with Virgin Blue, V Australia*, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue and they add up to determine your Status Level (Red, Silver or Gold). Find out more about Status.
