Here’s a quick overview of how the Program works:
Joining
- It’s free to join online and it only takes a few minutes.
- Once you’ve joined, you’ll be given a unique Membership Number which you can start using straight away to earn Points. We’ll send you your Membership Card in the mail.
Earning

You earn both Velocity Points and Status Credits every time you fly with Virgin Blue, V Australia*, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue. The more you fly with them, the more Status Credits you earn. The higher your Status, the more benefits you’ll get! - Check out Velocity’s great range of Program Partners to see who else you can earn Velocity Points with – and how.
- Make sure you provide your Velocity Membership Number every time you make a booking or make a purchase with any of our Program Partners. Then watch your Points add up fast!
Redeeming

When you’ve checked you have enough Velocity Points to start redeeming, just go to the Redeem section of this website to make your booking or order. You’ll need your Velocity Membership Number handy and you might need a credit card to pay for any surcharges or taxes that may apply.
Statements
- Each month, Velocity will email you a statement of your Points earning and redeeming activity to keep you up to date. If you want to know your Points balance any time, just login to your Velocity Account.
